Q:What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and for customers willing to drive to our store in Seattle, you can choose to pay for an item if you select the option to pick it up in-store.

Q: What is your Return/Exchange Policy?

A: Refund / Exchange policy Unopened merchandise unless otherwise indicated may returned for store credit only within 30 days of the invoice date. Defective merchandice may be exchanged for the exact same item only within 14 days of the invoice date. Customer pays return shipping on all services.
Restocking fee A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns for store credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable. No refund after 30 days. Technical support For most products, please contact the original manufacturer for assistance. Kicks Hobby Japan does not provide tech support.

Q: Are the model kit instructions hard to read since they are in Japanese?

A: No, they are actually quite easy to read. They are all step-by-step picture diagrams, and all the parts are referred to by a letter and number and are actually very easy to follow without any knowledge of Japanese.

Q: Do model kits require paint?

A: For the majority of our model kits no paint is required, and they all include stickers and decals. You may paint them if you like, but it is not required. However, the exception to this are kits manufactured by Hasegawa, many of which require paint to complete them as designed.
